Dos Santos Disses Frank Mir After the Fight???

Apparently Dos Santos is standing behind all the trash-talk from interviews before the fight.

Dos Santos said that Frank Mir had no heart and lacks the ability of getting out of rough spots in a fight. Mir down plays the comments and thinks it was only trash-talk to promote the fight. Apparently Dos Santos said after the fight he was standing behind what he said.

Dos Santos vs Cain Velasquez Rematch???

Rematch between UFC's most powerful fighters Dos Santos vs Cain Velasquez. Apparently Dana White told MMAJunkie.com, " he likes it".  Considering Valasquez beat his opponent Antonio Silva this weekend and Dos Santos annihilated Frank Mir with a second round knock ou

Dana White said everything but confirmed the fight on FuelTV saying:

"That's what's next. Not only did (Velasquez) look good (against Antonio Silva), he looked lean. Well, he was undefeated. He was an undefeated champion, he wins a fight, and he gets another shot at Junior."
These two undeniable fighters Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos are very fierce in their stand up. Dos Santos has great accuracy in his punches and great foot work. Velasquez on the other hand is very strong and lately he has looked more lean and agile.

Who do you think is going to win the rematch?

Koscheck adding fuel to BJ Penn's Fire

Here is Koscheck interview about fighting BJ Penn:

"Me and B.J. have a good relationship," said Koscheck, "It's business, and, you know what? I like to have big fights. I think that B.J. is the type of fighter that would be a big fight for me. The UFC asked to try and stir up something. You know, I do my job well, and I went on to my Twitter account, and just kinda said, 'Hey, B.J. Let's do this fight.'"

"I don't think that fight really hurt me, because a lot of people know that it could have gone either way. Johny Hendricks is a tough kid, you know, comes from a wrestling background. I gotta give him respect for what he's done in wrestling. I thought his weight classes were a bit weaker than mine, possibly, but he was a good wrestler. He's transitioning, now, into a fighter, and he's still young in his career. I think he's got a long way to go to make it to the top. Johny Hendricks could probably win ten fights in a row and still never make as much money as me."

"I get a lot of hate. Not only by other fighters, but, obviously, the fans. What's funny is, I play 'em all like a riddle. I'm the guy that's laughing, all the way to the bank. I'd do it the same way. I was telling Mike (Straka), before, 'You know what? I've been real, from day one. I've never changed, from the first Ultimate Fighter till now. It's been like eight years or something that I've been in the sport. I've never changed, and I won't change. I like I've done it the right way. I did it my way, and not many people can say that."

NEWS BREAKER:"Bones" Jones Arrested for DWI!!!!

Binghampton, NY: At 5:02am on Saturday the light-heavyweight UFC superstar "Bones" Jones was arrested for a DWI. He allegedly was intoxicated and ran into a pole. The police found and arrested him and apparently he was returned to his family later that night. This is very surprising considering he is so humble and dedicated. I think he is supposed to be this prefect role model to the public eye, but hey give him a break! He has repeatedly proven his talents and motivation over and over. Dana White despites the issue and he will still be able to fight at UFC 151., Also he said that this incident will not effect his public image. This is his official Facebook Statement about the incident that happened Saturday:
“Man I haven’t added anyone new to my Facebook page in like three years and right now I’m so glad that I haven’t. It has literally been sickening to have so many people try to kick me while I’m down. At the same time, I totally understand, I gave them the leeway to. I screwed up, big time. Just needed to say thank you to all you guys for being amazing friends/supporters.
Always having to deal with so many critics, haters and fickle mma fans, I almost forgot how strong of a home base I had (607 and people that knew me before I was a champion fighter). Although the hell that will come with this hasn’t even started yet, I want you guys to know how much better you’ve all made me feel, not only about this situation but about life, everything. It’s good to feel that people are there and care. With that being said, I felt I should apologize to you first.
I’m truly sorry to those of you that I may have embarrassed in any way, to those of you with kids that I may have let down. I will prove to them as well as to myself, that no matter what is happening in life, we can always work our way back and make things even better than before. Reading you guys uplifting comments was a great reminder for me to not give up on who I am or all the hateful people. I’m not gonna allow this situation to outweigh the positive. I love you guys right back and I promise to make things right. PS sorry about the terrible grammar :)”

HERE IS JON JONES MUG SHOT:

Dana White said earlier this week that:

"I'm not involved in all the legal stuff that's going on with Jones but yeah, he flew out a few nights ago and sat down with me and Lorenzo and talked. I like Jon Jones. He's a good guy, he's a young kid. He made a mistake that night and we'll see what happens. ... I think we've supported Jon. He's a young kid and he's going to need a lot of guidance. The kid is incredibly talented, he's starting to make tons of money and he's getting really famous. Those are all the recipes for disaster."

UFC 146 Results

The UFC 146 Heavyweight Championship battle took place at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The battle of UFC veteran Frank Mir versus the current heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. Junior Dos Santos apparently opened up a can of whoop a**!

The first round Frank Mir tried to shoot for the takedown but Junior Dos Santos takedown defense was too efficient. Junior Dos Santos kept landing powerful yet fast blows on Frank Mir completely throwing him off his game plan.

Eventually Dos Santos landed a verocious blow on Frank Mir's left cheek during the 2nd round and dropped him. As Frank Mir crashed to the mat the referee Dean gave Frank Mir a chance to defend himself, but he couldnt mange to regain composure and all it took was one more blow landed by Dos Santos to end the match and keep his championship belt.
